Real projects.
Three case studies from clients in different fields.
Pharmitalia Group
"A 900-page pharmaceutical patent package translated from Italian into English and German for European Patent Office submission."
Pharmitalia Group, based in Emilia-Romagna, needed their flagship compound patent portfolio reviewed, restructured, and translated for EPO filing. The package included molecular specifications, clinical summary data, regulatory correspondence, and prior art citations across 14 sub-documents. We assembled a specialist team of two biochemistry-qualified translators and a patent attorney reviewer to handle the full package. The EPO filing was accepted without revision requests.
EU Cultural Exchange
"Three-year institutional translation programme covering project reports, funding applications, and public notices across five languages."
A consortium of northern Italian municipalities running EU-funded cultural exchange programmes required ongoing institutional translation across Italian, English, French, German, and Spanish. Over three years we translated 480 documents, maintained a centralised terminology database, and provided remote interpretation support for four cross-border meetings. Zero documents were returned for revision.
Einaudi Publishing
"A literary non-fiction catalogue of twelve titles translated from Italian into English for international distribution."
Einaudi Publishing needed a consistent team for their international English-language catalogue, spanning literary essays, cultural criticism, and historical narrative. The challenge was preserving each author voice while making the texts accessible to English-speaking audiences without flattening the prose. We worked with three specialist literary translators who alternated between titles to maintain stylistic distinction across the catalogue.
